Tell Cobblestone: Answer the Call and Meet with the Union!

Oceanside Landing is a 55+ community of mobile homeowners who pay lot rent to Cobblestone Real Estate. On July 28, residents of Oceanside Landing made history by launching the first tenant union in Murrells Inlet in response to 16% lot rent increases and being placed on month-to-month leases. Some elderly tenants have had to return to work to afford the added costs, and many are anxious about the instability a month-to-month lease offers.

Oceanside Landing Tenant Union is publicly demanding that Cobblestone Real Estate meet with their union and negotiate a fair lease and fair rent.

Starting on August 12, Oceanside Landing tenants have sent Cobblestone more than 100 emails demanding a meeting. Community members and supporters have sent nearly 200 more.

Cobblestone has not yet responded. 

It's time to keep the pressure on Cobblestone Real Estate by calling the office of CEO, Eric Hagen.
