Are you trying to organize tenants in your apartment complex, mobile home park, or neighborhood? Want to get more of your neighbors involved but aren't sure how to start those conversations?

Join SC Tenant Union for a virtual, hands-on canvassing training designed for tenants who are organizing their properties and building collective power.

We'll cover how to:

• Have effective organizing conversations: Learn how to listen, ask good questions, and connect with your neighbors around shared issues.
• Move people into action: Turn conversations into commitments and invite neighbors to take the next step toward organizing together.
• Track conversations and follow up: Keep organizing relationships growing after you leave someone's doorstep.
• Practice your skills: Work through real-life canvassing scenarios and build confidence talking with your neighbors.

Whether you're just getting started or already knocking doors, this training will help you strengthen your organizing skills and build a plan to reach more tenants.

No canvassing experience is required! Come ready to participate, practice, and learn alongside other tenant organizers across South Carolina.

What to expect: This is an interactive virtual training with demonstrations, group discussion, and hands-on practice. For the best experience, we encourage participants to join from a computer in a space where they can participate in conversations.
